Abstract

|
Some studies of schizophrenia revealed that late and very late-onset schizophrenia may have been distinct subtype. Late-onset schizophrenia had been different from early-onset schizophrenia elder patient in epidemiology, clinical symptom, treatment response and prognosis. Six late and very late-onset schizophrenia patients were reviewed. Our six patients were all late-onset and their symptoms were same of early-onset schizophrenia symptoms. But, except fifth case, rapid and good treatment response, less impaired affection were observed.
